hmmm....Sam's Middy outfit

I just recieved this in the mail, and the sleeves are both a bit short and tight! I was thinking that I heard somewhere that the problem had been fixed, but I really don't like the way it fits. I was also really disappointed in the boots. I had the boots as a child, and they are coming apart a bit from play so I decided to order a new pair and the material is not near as nice, and I like the old heel so much better. I just thought I'd let anyone who was thinking of ordering the Middy outfit that the sleeves are still a problem. Hopefully I can find a good one when we go to AGP LA next month. Does anyone know if the stores will do exchanges on catalog ordered merchandise? Thank-you!

I was able to exchange something I bought on line at the store with no questions asked. I hope you can one that fits. I think it is such a cute outfit.

I'm tossing around the idea of just sending it in for a refund, but then I pay to ship it back to them. If I exchange it at the store though, I have to wait about 30 days and then CS told me they may not exchange it. Decisions, decisions...I was really hoping it would have come and fit right. It's actually quite funny because her left arm sleeve fits nice, It's just the right arm that's short...I would have thought that they would have sewn them the same legnth, but maybe I just got a dud.

Shanna, that's the same way the one I ordered a few months back fit my Molly, I couldn't even move her arms without hooking the sleeves together which I couldn't hook at all her wrist were to big. The boots were way to tight and I was sure I was going to rip them apart just trying to get them on her.

I did try the outfit and boots on the other girls and some of them it fit OK! So I believe that besides different bodies sizes so are the limbs of the AG's different sizes! The doll it fits prefect on is a doll I won from ebay which was suppost to be PM Samantha ??? with a hair cut that turned out it was body parts of (from)different dolls hopefully all AG's put together...a frankistein. Thank goodness I didn't pay to much for it, including with the extra for a new wig I bought for it.

Are you going to bring the doll with to try on the outfit when you go to AGP? Has anyone ever tried on outfits at AGP? Will they let you? If so my next trip I'm bring the doll to see. So many outfits I have bought lately don't fit the girls.

I just got this outfit as well and did not have a problem with the shoes or the sleeves. It fits Cadence perfectly! [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img]

I got the outfit in 2001 and it fit Samantha perfectly before she went to the doll hospital and got a M head and body (she was PM) and it still fits her great....wonder why yours doesnt fit?
